I am a retired business executive and engineer with extensive experience in negotiating contracts - 37 years with Shell Chemical Company (affiliate of Shell Oil Company), including 30 years in management positions, plus 11 years as an independent consultant. I have been a volunteer mediator for over fifteen years and have mediated over 390 cases.I focus on civil and community disputes. Over 70% of the cases I have mediated resulted in settlements. When both parties enter into mediation with the intent of settling, the probability of a settlement can be over 90%.
